In Singing class we work with on all styles of music from Pop to Musical Theatre.

 

The Academy Kids work on Harmony Work, Solo Performance Pieces, Music Theory, Mic Technique, Audition Technique and Acting Through Song.

Every February The Academy hosts The Academy Factor - our in house singing competition where every student has the opportunity to perform a solo or duet of their choice in front of our Special Guest Judge!

The AcadeMy Kids have sung at several local events including Party in the Park, The Bushey Inaugural Acoustic Festival, Intu Watford's Big Switch On and Intu's Summer Party! 

​

Students also have the opportunity to work with our choreographers and stage musical theatre numbers and medleys from the latest West End and Broadway shows as well as creating Pop performances to the latest chart songs which are showcased in our Summer Show each summer.

Most importantly, singing regularly in a group has been proven to improve concentration and make you feel much happier!
